This workshop, for educators and program coordinators working with youth and families, will provide considerations for facilitating successful outdoor activities with groups, and will cover the following topics:

Thoughtful trip planning, area selection and preparedness
Appropriate gear
Critical group and risk management practices
Memorable outdoor games and activities
Leave No Trace™ outdoor ethics
Simple food and nutrition planning
Promoting leadership, stewardship and conservation
