Every August, hundreds of hikers hit the trail for Hike-a-Thon, the annual fundraising event for Washington Trails Association. From Cascade ascents to Olympic coastal hikes to the canyons of Utah, hikers put in hundreds of miles and raise thousands of dollars in the name of the trails they love.

Because of Hike-a-Thoners, and our generous sponsors, WTA can build and repairs trails, get youth outdoors, educate the state's hikers and fight for access and funding for trails all year long.

With only a few days left in the herculean hiking effort, it's not too late to get in on the adventure. To make it a success, just sponsor a Hike-a-Thoner, any of the photographers below, or the Hike-a-Thon mascot, Miles the Marmot.
