My Backpack: Save Hikes, Trip Reports, Photos

My Backpack is a brand new feature of the wta.org that allows you to collect your Trip Reports, hikes and your photo gallery submissions all in one place.

The last time you looked up a hike on wta.org, did you stumble across a different hike (or ten) that you wished you could save for later? Well, WTA has been working with the great folks at Groundwire to cook up an easy way for you to do just that.

Whether you've been a Trip Reporter for years or are brand new to the site, My Backpack is a new feature of wta.org that allows you to collect your Trip Reports, hikes and photo gallery submissions all in one place.

How to use the My Backpack feature

Save Hike Button on Colchuck Lake
Save any hike to My Backpack.
Click on the My Backpack hiker (in the orange box) or select the orange Save a Hike button for any hike on our site to log in and get started!

If you have questions or want to get a preview of how your My Backpack page will work, check out the My Backpack help guide and FAQs.

After giving it a test run, share your thoughts about what you liked or how WTA might improve My Backpack in the future by emailing mybackpack@wta.org.

like a trail Christmas list!

My backpack is cool! A few suggestions - use the orange hiker on the link under the WTA logo and the button in the hiking guide listing. Also add a button to the hiker finder in the information panel that appears when we select a hike off the map. You've made some really nice changes to the site.
