There's a lot happening at Riverside State Park in the coming week. WTA will be hosting three trail work parties May 11-13 and local hiking phenom, Heather "Anish" Anderson will be speaking there the evening of May 6.
Help fix up the Knothead Loop Trail
Fires from two years ago damaged the Knothead Trail, which WTA has been helping to construct in Riverside State Park above the Little Spokane River. You don't need any experience to join us in helping fix up this local gem.
Dates don't work out? We'll be working at Liberty Lake and Antoine Peak soon, too.

AN INCREDIBLE HIKER, AN INSPIRING VOICE
Heather "Anish" Anderson, who holds the self-supported fastest known time on the Appalachian, Pacific Crest and Arizona Trails, will be speaking at an evening event geared towards women hosted by REI and SheJumps.
Anish has long been a proponent for the value of trails in our lives and in our state. (She even donated a hike to WTA's 2016 Hike-a-Thon in support of WTA's work for trails).
