WTA's spring membership campaign welcomed more than 1400 new members and the Seattle Foundation's BigGive raised more than $22,000 for WTA. Thank you!

Wow!

In May and June, Washington Trails Association welcomed more than 1,400 new members. We're pretty sure this is a record for our spring member drive. We're really pleased to have so many new hikers join our efforts to promote hiking and protect and maintain hiking trails. Thank you!

What's more, The Seattle Foundation's GiveBIG on June 23rd was a very BIG day for WTA, with 176 donors giving $18,500 to support trails. Coupled with The Seattle Foundation's stretch match and our two $1,000 Golden Tickets, we just received a check for $22,238. Many of these donations were from our current members, but a good portion are from folks new to WTA as well.

As a member, you help WTA field more than 650 days of trail work each year. You help support and maintain WTA's website and publish our bi-monthly magazine. You give us power when we advocate for trails in Olympia and Washington D.C. And you help us reach out to youth and their families. WTA members make it all happen.

Thanks again to both our new and renewing WTA members for helping ensure your favorite trails are open and hikable and for growing the hiking community now and for years to come.
