Celebrate 50 Years with This Commemorative Patch
In 2016, Washington Trails Association is celebrating 50 years of protecting trails. It's a special milestone, which is why we've created a limited-run commemorative patch for members who join or renew at the $50+ level.

In 2016, Washington Trails Association is celebrating 50 years of protecting trails. It's a special milestone, which is why we've created a limited-run commemorative patch for members who join or renew at the special $50+ level.
As we continue to empower, inspire and engage the hikers of today and tomorrow, we invite you to join us. You'll earn more than a patch. You'll be joining a community that protects trails for the next 50 years.
A brief history of a one-of-a-kind community
WTA has it's roots in Signpost, a grassroots magazine started in 1966 by the late guidebook author Louise Marshall as a way for trail lovers in the Northwest to share their backcountry adventures and trail conditions. In the intervening 50 years, we've evolved into the Washington Trails Association of today, a diverse community of hikers protecting and promoting trails and wild places.
The WTA of today educates hikers, gets youth outdoors, maintains trails and advocates on the state and federal level for Washington's incredible wild places. We have a lot to celebrate this year, and we hope you'll celebrate with us.
Join us, put on your patch with pride, and help shape the future of tomorrow's trails.
