Cape Horn Deadline Extended

WTA volunteers working at Cape Horn have recently completed much-needed trail maintenance and a short reroute to protect sensitive habitat. Over the winter, we began work to build a new bridge, but construction on Highway 14 and wet weather have combined to delay its completion until later this year.

Fortunately, the National Forest Foundation has extended their deadline to qualify for $13,000 in matching funds for the project. You now have until September 15, 2011, to support WTA's work at Cape Horn and receive a dollar-for-dollar match.
