Our public lands have been particularly good to us this year. Trails have provided critical places to stretch our legs and de-stress. They've been our gyms and playgrounds, our sanctuaries and social (distancing) outlets. They've seen a lot of love, and now it's time to return the favor.
Every September, National Public Lands Day is an annual event when volunteers across the country work together in a nationwide effort to keep the lands that we love looking beautiful. This year, it's even easier to get involved — just be part of the effort to prevent and pick up trash! We're working with our partners to sponsor a special event hosted by our friends at Mountains to Sound Greenway from Sept. 19-26.
