Coffee-Cocoa Energy Bites
Nutrient dense and tasty, this cocoa, coffee and hazelnut combo makes a perfect on-trail snack—and is pretty dang decadent.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 6 ounces date paste
- 2 tbsp honey
- pinch of sea salt
- 3/4 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 1 tsp coffee extract
DIRECTIONS

Grind oats in a food processor until powdered, then add remaining ingredients.

Process until dough sticks together and is well incorporated, then press into a rimmed pan.

Chill in the fridge, then cur into bite-size pieces or roll into balls. Store in fridge until ready to use.
