Cranberry Pear Compote

Get some Thanksgiving vibes on trail with this fall inspired cranberry dish.

PREP TIME / COOK TIME

5 minutes / 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup dried pears, chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp dried orange zest
  • pinch of sea salt

 

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to an insulated mug or bowl, cover with 1/4 cup water.

 Cover and let rehydrate for 20-30 minutes. If a bit dry, add a little more water as needed.

Stir the rice, top with walnuts.
