Length
The Wilson Creek Trail is a remote, unmaintained route within Glacier Peak Wilderness. Beginning at the Entiat River Trail, it ends at Lower Railroad Creek Trail, near Holden Village. This end of the trail is inaccessible due to the Holden Mine Remediation Project.
The Wilson Creek Trail trail is an old sheep drive trail that is very steep and rocky for the first mile on the ridgeline.
From the trail, you can enjoy spectacular views of the valley headwall. Popular destinations accessed from this are are Dole Lakes or Railroad Creek, though currently Railroad Creek access is limited due to the Holden Mine remediation project.
While this trail ends on the ridge, it is possible to travel cross-country on to further adventures.

Getting There
To access Wilson Creek from the Entiat River Trailhead, travel north from Wenatchee or south from Chelan on US-97A for to Entiat. Just after the bridge, turn left onto the Entiat River Road and travel north 37.3 miles up to the Entiat River Road to the Entiat River Trailhead. This road becomes Forest Road 51 after 27 miles. At 34 miles the pavement ends and becomes Forest Road 5100. Continue on to the Entiat River Trailhead the end of the road.
