While there is another park of the same name in Redmond, the Viewpoint Park in Bellevue serves as a natural buffer separating the neighborhoods from the businesses in the area. There are wooded trails to explore, including a trail leading to Bridle Trails State Park.

Trailhead

Heading southwest on WA-520, exit at 148th Avenue NE. After about a mile, turn onto NE 24th Street. Continue for approximately half a mile to reach Viewpoint Park. There is enough parking for about 4 cars in a pullout along the side of the road. The start of the trail is signed. No restrooms.
This trailhead is accessible by bus! Plan your visit by bus using TOTAGO, or consult the schedule for King County Metro route number 249.
Get off at 140th AVE NE and NE 24th Street and walk west on NE 24th Street to the trailhead.
