Hiking Trout Creek

Hike along a creekside trail from the Icicle River valley on the Jack Creek Trail. 1.2 miles in, arrive at a junction with the Trout Creek trail, which branches off to the east. Follow this route for 2.8 miles to a junction with the Eightmile-Trout Creek trail, which links hikers with the west-most lake of the Enchantments permit zone. 

Continuing a half miles from the Eightmile junction, arrive at Trout Lake, a total of 4.5 miles from the Jack Trout trailhead.

Getting There

From Leavenworth head southwest on Highway 2 west for 0.8 miles. Then turn left onto Icicle Road (Forest Road 7600) and continue straight for about 16 miles. Stay left on Forest Road 7600 after passing Icicle Gorge trailhead. Then take a left on Forest Road 615.
