This trail leaves from a forest service road in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest south of Cle Elum and reaches the lake in under a mile. The trail is simple and straightforward and stays nearly level the entire way. The lake is relatively small and tucked against the base of gentle slopes.
Along the way, hikers will pass through an old-growth forest. After enjoying the lake, head back to the trailhead on the same trail.
