WTA Pro Tip: Save a copy of our directions before you leave! App-based driving directions aren't always accurate and data connections may be unreliable as you drive to the trailhead.

Getting There

Head to Port Angeles via Highway 101. If coming from the east, turn left onto Race Street (if from the west, turn right onto Race Street). Follow this road through town until it becomes the Mount Angeles Road. At a Y, veer right onto Hurricane Ridge Road.

Drive this road for 16 steep and winding miles up to Hurricane Visitors Center. From the parking area, the trail begins at the entrance of the parking lot, to your right. At its start, the trail name is called Cirque but becomes the Sunrise Trail then the High Ridge Trail and Klahhane Ridge Trail. They all interconnect with each other so a map would be nice.
