On the edge of Capitol Hill in the city of Seattle, the St. Mark's Greenbelt separates the neighborhood from I-5.

It's an oasis in an urban setting, providing wildlife habitat, dense vegetation and trails. Access is from St. Mark's Cathedral on 10th Ave E. A steep trail through the southern part of the greenbelt is accessible from trailheads in the south and southwest portions of the St. Mark's parking lot.
