Hiking Squibbs Creek

The Squibbs Creek Trail is part of the City of Bellevue’s Parks and Open Trails System. Take a walk through the old growth trees in the Horizon Heights Open Space. Listen to the babbling creek and enjoy the changing colors in the fall.

This is a pretty little greenbelt trail that follows the creek along the bottom of a ravine on the first section.

It's been nicely replanted with native species and the creek tumbles over small rocky waterfalls. The trail then switchbacks up to meet SE 46th way where a crosswalk provides safety to the other side.

Switchbacking down to meet the creek again it crosses two bridges and meets stairs that climb steeply to the upper hillside. The trail ends at SE 48th Dr.
