Spencer Spit State Park is located on the northeast corner of Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands. A campground sits at the northern edge of the park. The network of hiking trails loops around the edge of the park, heads along the edge of a lagoon and extends out onto the spit.

First, take the ferry from Anacortes to Lopez Island. From the Lopez Island ferry dock head straight on Ferry Road for 2.1 miles. Turn left onto Center Road for 0.8 mile, then turn left onto Cross Road for 0.5 mile. Turn right onto Port Stanley Road for 0.3 mile. Turn left onto Bakerview Road for 0.5 mile. Continue straight into Spencer Spit State Park. Continue straight to the parking area. Restroom available.
