Hiking South Hill Loop Trail

The loop trail in this park is a nice place for families to go walking or for anyone to get some steps in. Park in the spacious lot, and find the start of the trail near the playground on the corner of 86th Ave E and 144th St.

Parallel the road for a short stretch before heading into an open green area, and then into a forested portion that passes through a wetland. Then curve back around to the start.

If you are looking for a little more distance, you can link up with the Nathan Chapman Memorial Trail which starts from the north end of the parking lot and connects to the Heritage Recreation Center.
