If you're looking for an excellent place to backpack then look no further. With camps in both the upper De Roux basin and at Gallagher Head Lake you'll be spoiled for choice on where to set up your tent. With peak views and access to Gallagher Head Lake, you'll get a nice peek into the Teanaway and the beauty it offer but the elevation gain can be a challenge on this rocky trail. This route also offers access to the Esmeralda Basin Trail, which is a popular day hiking loop if you're looking for further adventure on your trip.
