Hiking Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) - Snoqualmie Pass to Olallie Meadow

This moderate hike follows the Pacific Crest Trail south out of Snoqualmie Pass to lovely Olallie Meadow, a place to see native carnivorous sundew plants.

Beginning at the western-most parking lot at Snoqualmie Pass, head southwest up through the Snoqualmie Pass ski area. At at the top of the hill, the trail passes Beaver Lake before dropping down to Lodge Lake 2.3 miles in.

Continuing past the turnoff for this lake, the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) climbs gradually for approximately four miles, crossing high above the the Snoqualmie Tunnel and occasionally joining up with service roads (look for the PCT signage).

About 6.5 miles from the pass, Olallie Meadow is on the left. There are native carnivorous sundews (the small reddish plants) in the wetter sections of the meadow.
