Length
Trail 25 is the longest trail within Riverside State Park. It forms a giant loop on the west side of the Spokane River. Loop options abound here, as do out-and-backs, or just short wanderings. In its entirety, the trail is roughly 25 miles in total distance and passes through or close to numerous trailhead parking access sites. It can make an excellent long route in the park, or can easily be broken into smaller pieces by utilizing connector trails to form routes of shorter distances.
The mostly commonly used starting trailhead is Bowl and Pitcher campground and day use area, which has amenities like flush toilets and even access to (fee) showers at the campground. Other trailheads with easy access to Trail 25 include the Equestrian trailhead, Morin, Marchand, the ORV area, Pine Bluff, Pine Bluff Road, Carlson, Deep Creek, McLellan Overlook, Seven Mile, and Wilber trailheads. Traveling all of trail 25, whether in one epic day or through numerous park visits, serves as an excellent introduction to all Riverside State Park has to offer.
