Hiking Ring Road

The Ring Road Trail is part of the Cougar Mountain trail system. It can only be reached on foot and does not have its own trailhead. Hikers can connect to the Ring Road Trail From the Long View Peak Trail in the southern reaches of this vast park.

From its junction with the Long View Peak Trail, the Ring Road Trail descends about 100 feet before levelling off at trail’s end. This trail simply ends at the park boundary and does not connect with other trails. There is no access to this end of the trail from the adjoining neighborhood, please respect private property.
