Hiking Raven Roost

This trail starts out at the Raven Roost high point at road’s end. This trail starts out with the views before you even set foot on trail. Start out contouring along the ridge. After a little more than a mile you’ll cross into the Norse Peak Wilderness. This boundary also marks the edge of the damage caused by the Norse Peak Fire from 2017.

Walk through the burned area and drop over the ridge into Cougar Valley. Continue on until the trail ends at the Pacific Crest Trail.
