Length
Part of the West Duwamish Greenbelt, Puget Park sits on the east side of West Seattle, right alongside the Duwamish and West Marginal Way. The greenbelt is the largest in the city, including a long swath of forest visible from drivers on I-5. That forest is home to frogs, fox, and birds of prey, as well as a handful of trails that WTA volunteers work on so visitors can get a dose of nature close to where they live.

Donated by the Puget Mill Company, the Seattle Parks Board adopted the name Puget Park in 1912. It remained a trailless greenspace for many years, officially designated as undeveloped. In more recent years, the Boy Scouts and other youth groups have been allowed to clear trails and build bridges in the park.
