Hiking Puget Creek Natural Area

This trail in Tacoma follows Puget Creek through a gulch just above Commencement Bay. Puget Creek is very important as it is one of only three salmon-bearing streams in Tacoma.

There are three access points for this trail: Monroe St., Alder Way, and Proctor Street. If you choose the Monroe St. entrance you will have to cross over Proctor Street to connect with the rest of the trail. The only entrance with a parking area is at Proctor Street where there are seven parking spots.
