Active logging may affect trail access.
From the parking lot, take the Stumps Trail for 0.4 miles to the intersection of logging road 1000. Head left on logging road 1,000 for 300 feet to the Ewok/Ranger trail on the right.
Follow the trail as it climbs through second growth timber. As the trail flattens out at junction of Ranger and Ewok, continue left onto Ewok Trail and hike through a lovely fern understory with beautiful Douglas fir forest until you reach crest of hill where trail intersects ET trail.
Follow ET to the right as it descends to road 1000. Take a left on road 1000 and descend back to parking area on logging road.
