A series of very short trails at Point Robinson lead to and around a lighthouse on Maury Island whose mate is across the Sound at Alki Point.
A parking area just up the hill from the lighthouse also has disabled parking available, though the quarter mile trail to the lighthouse may not be wheelchair accessible in times of rain.
The scenery along the beach is magnificent. Warping driftwood on the sandy beach are the forefront to a scene of boats plying Puget Sound and Mount Ranier in the distance. All this (and of course the lighthouse) all make for great photos.
Another trail, the South Trail, starts across the road from the upper parking area, behind the fruit trees and ends along the road to the lower parking area. It is a little hard to find in areas, and may be slightly overgrown.
A lower parking area is available for pick-up or drop-off and disabled permit parking only.
WTA Pro Tip: There are two guest houses available for rent year round and the light house is open for tours on Sundays between May and September.
