Hiking Pierre Lake Trail

Explore the shore as you camp on Pierre Lake in Colville National Forest. This trail spans between the Forest boundary and the campground. This trail is great for viewing wildlife, especially bird watching. Fishermen use it for fishing on the lake. It is a short trail that provides access to the lake, and is a pleasurable walk for those looking to explore the area.

The lake itself has largemouth bass, black crappie, bullhead catfish, an occasional kokanee, and several kinds of trout living in it, peaking the interest of fisherman. Motorized and non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake, and the lake is open year-round.
