Hiking Moritani Preserve

Moritani Preserve is a relatively new park located on a historic 8.5-acre former strawberry farm. The park features a small trail network that winds through rolling, grassy fields and patches of fir forest. The park also includes beautiful wood benches, a Haiku stone garden, farm implements and informational signage honoring the property’s heritage.

The preserve connects almost seamlessly with the Waterfront Trail for folks who would like to extend their visit.

Getting There

There is no parking at the trailhead so you will need to park somewhere in downtown Winslow and walk to the start of this trail, or consider walking on the ferry from downtown Seattle and walking to the trail from the Bainbridge Island ferry dock.

The trail begins from the western end Winslow Way West.
