Hiking Mohawk Falls and Mohawk Mine

This short, non-crowded hike goes to a great waterfall and historic mines.

This is a fairly easy hike, and is probably okay for kids, as long as they are briefed beforehand that they should not grab a devil-club, thinking that it is a good thing to use for a hand-hold.

There are a few blow-downs to negotiate, but there is no water on the trail, or anything like that. The trail is a little faint in places, but it is open forest. The trail follows mostly less than 100 feet from the creek that you parked near, and the falls is on this same creek.
