Hiking McLane School Forest Trail

This multi-use trail, also known as the McLane School Trail, starts at the McLane Elementary School in Olympia. It connects to the Ralph Munro Trail which was formerly known as the McLane Nature Trail. The paved trail goes around the elementary school and includes signs identifying native plant species.

Getting There

From Hwy 101 N, take the exit for Mud Bay Road towards the Evergreen State College. In about 0.4 mile, take a left onto Mud Bay Road towards Shelton. Stay on Mud Bay Road for around 0.2 mile, then take a left at the stoplight to get onto Delphi Rd SW. In approximately 0.1 mile, McLane Elementary School will be on your left.
