Getting There
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From downtown Seattle, take I-90 east and get off at the exit for Dearborn St. Continue on S Dearborn Street for a little over half a mile. Take a left onto Rainier Ave S, then a right onto S Lane St and a left onto 16th Ave S. Follow 16th Ave S for about 0.3 mile before turning right onto E Yesler Way.
Continue on E Yelser Way for about a mile. Then, take a left at 32nd Ave, and after about 200 feet, continue on as 32nd Ave becomes Lake Dell Ave. In around 0.3 mile, keep to the right as Lake Dell Ave becomes E Alder St. Continue on E Alder St for approximately 0.2 mile, then take a right onto Lk Washington Blvd. In a little over 300 feet, continue straight onto Lakeside Ave. Leschi Park will be on the left after about 0.2 mile.
TAKE TRANSIT
This trailhead is accessible by bus! Plan your visit by bus using TOTAGO, or consult the schedule for King County Metro route number 27.
The Route 27 will take you to the Lakeside Ave S & E Yesler Way stop which is within a five minute walk to the park.
