This hike is in a privately owned forest. The public is allowed to recreate here with a permit obtained on https://sqrecreation.com/

Please note that road is used by motorized permit owners as well as lakeshore - paying attention and having some base amenities to make yourself seen in the shadow will go a long way on this hike.
