Hiking LaCrosse Pass

The Lacrosse Pass Trail runs up and over the ridge between the West Fork Dosewallips River valley and the Duckabush River Valley. It is steepest south of the pass where it descends to the Duckabush River. In contrast, approaching the pass from the north is a more gradual ascent.

This is a backcountry trail, so it can only be reached on foot via one of the several connector trails. A popular route is to combine the LaCrosse Pass Trail with the O’neil Pass Trail to form a loop around White Mountain.
