Hiking King Sisters Preserve

King Sisters Preserve is a short, flat walk that runs parallel to San Juan Valley Rd on San Juan Island. It is easy and non-technical, and is a nice place to walk your dog on leash if you are staying nearby.

Although the trail is not as stunning as other options on San Juan Island, it does offer some lovely views of the surrounding farmland.

At one point the trail veers away from the road, leading to a charming bench overlooking the preserve. In addition, the trail is part of a greater effort to create a walking path from Friday Harbor to the center of the island. Show your support for this project by enjoying and taking care of this section of trail!
