This route is in the Teanaway / 29 Pines Staging Area Groomed Trail System. The long and mostly flat road can be used for snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing when weather permits.

From I-90 E, take exit 85 near Cle Elum to get onto WA-970 North. Stay on WA-970 North for approximately 7 miles to Teanaway Road. Take a right, and after about 7.3 miles, continue straight onto North Fork Teanaway Road. In around 5.4 miles, you will find Jack Creek Fishery on the left and Forest Road 9738 Blue Creek/Jack Creek on the right.
