Hiking Harvey Manning Trail

Take a short walk on Cougar Mountain, shaded by the thick forest, with plenty of options into the trail network to create your own hiking adventure.

Start from the Harvey Manning Trailhead and walk for a short length south along the Shangri La Trail until you hit a junction with a right turn. Take the right onto the Tibbetts March Trail, where you will soon reach a T junction. At this junction, take the right to soon reach another T junction, where you'll turn left.

From here, you'll have about half a mile of mild descent along the Harvey Manning Trail. The trail ends at a junction with Cougar Pass trail, where you'll have the option of turning back the way you came or continuing deeper into the Cougar Mountain trail network for a longer hike.
