The system of trails and bridges in the forested section of the park will lead you through native plants and across the small creek. A set of stairs will take you to a view platform where Mount Rainier can be seen on clear days. In the spring, wildflowers like trillium, orange grape, red flowering currant and others have been spotted in the park.
