From the parking lot and trailhead informational kiosk, follow the faint trail downhill to the edge of the wetland. Linger along the water or wander northeast for some of the best bird viewing in the Spokane-area. White property markers show the boundaries; stay off adjoining private property and farmlands.
This area is closed to motorized use, mountain biking, equestrian use, hunting, and overnight camping. Dogs are permitted, but must remain on leash to protect waterfowl and other animals.
