Hiking Dungeness River Dike Trail

relaxed ramble about 2 miles south and back on a wide, level dirt trail. Good for birdwatching. Good for kids. Leashed dogs allowed.

Less than a mile from the parking lot, the forest opens up into a lovely mountain view. Pretty farmland views. There are numerous small side trails down to the river.
