WTA Pro Tip: Save a copy of our directions before you leave! App-based driving directions aren't always accurate and data connections may be unreliable as you drive to the trailhead.
Getting There
From Highway 2 headed east, look for milepost 64 and turn southeast onto the Old Cascade Highway. This is the turnoff for the Money Creek Campground. Stay on the road for one mile, then turn right onto NE Miller River Road. At your next opportunity, turn right onto Money Creek Road (FR 6420). Drive about 0.7 miles to a bridge that crosses Money Creek. An old logging road, FS 6422 on the south side of FS 6420 leads to Cleveland Mountain. Park in a turnaround off FS6422 and beging hiking here.
Note that the roads can be rough. High-clearance four-wheel drive vehicles might be able to reach the first road switch approximately 1.0 miles from Money Creek Road, but there are not many turnarounds or parking spots further up the road.
