Hiking Chinook Bend Natural Area

Chinook Bend Natural Area is a green space along the Snoqualmie River just outside the town of Carnation. This public land is owned and managed by King County Parks for its ecological importance to the health of this river.

An unofficial trail leads from the parking area to the river where a gravel path parallels the water. Depending on the time of year, this trail may be overgrown or flooded.

A few hundred feet behind the privy you will also find public art pieces that were installed here with funding from 4Culture, and signs explaining the significance of this natural area.
