Hiking China Creek

Just north of Lake Boren, this trail connects Coal Creek Parkway to  the Crosstown Trail just across from 129th Ave. SE. Over its 0.8-mile course it passes through the green spaces between the residential areas of the town of Newcastle. It is a great non-motorized alternative to getting around the neighborhood and connects to other trails in this vast network.

Getting There

The western end of the trail is at the end of SE 77th Ct. The eastern end of the trail is along Coal Creek Parkway, between SE 73rd Place and SE 76th Place. There are no official parking areas for this trail segment. 

TAKE TRANSIT: 

King County Transit routes 114 and 240 stop at SE 76th St and Coal Creek Parkway, which is a few hundred feet from the eastern end of this trail.
