This popular multi-use trail system contains a mix of public and private land, and consists of a large network of trails that connect from Upriver Drive along the banks of the Spokane River up to the high point on Beacon Hill. A disc golf course is also accessible from the trailhead and located along the lower reaches of the trail system.
This trail system is very popular with mountain bikers so expect lots of bike traffic, especially if visiting on weekends or summer evenings. Hikers and trail runners also make extensive use of the interconnected trail system, where it is possible to link together a route of anywhere from two miles to marathon distance.
Hikers will find the most solitude here during the winter months or during the early morning hours. Camp Sekani's ease of access coupled with sandy soil make it an excellent choice when other local trails are snowy or are too muddy.
