The hike to Camp Pleasant is often included in more lengthy backpacks or dayhikes on the Olympic Peninsula, but hikers will find an easy conditioner when they undertake this early season stroll.
Most of the trail to Camp Pleasant is flat or with very mild elevation gain. Hikers enjoy a wide tread that meanders through woodland -- take in the sights and smells of the close forest as you wander.
The last half-mile of trail into Camp Pleasant offers wider views, and of course a great spot to have lunch and take in the scenery.
