Just three miles west of Blewett Pass, Cairn Hill is one of two popular summits in the area. Despite its relatively low elevation in comparison to the surrounding peaks of Diamond Head and the Teanaway, Cairn Hill affords hikers who venture up it beautiful panoramas of the surrounding peaks.
Keep in mind that this is a dry hike -- bring water, and avoid doing this hike on particularly cold days. Because this is a backcountry route, hikers should be fully equipped for backcountry snow travel, and should always check snow conditions before heading out.
