Hiking Bumping Lake Ski and Snowshoe Trails

Looking for a long winter snowshoe ramble? The Bumping Lake area has miles of cross country and snowshoe trails to entertain beginners and seasoned snowshoers alike. Keep in mind you'll be sharing the trail with cross country skiers, and the area is open to snowmobilers in some areas, so you may have a soundtrack to keep you company as you walk.

The trails are groomed throughout the winter. Remember to stay out of the ski track, keeping to the left of the trail as you snowshoe. One option is to explore the upper campground loop, then head down to the boat ramp and return via the shortcut connector trail, but there are many possibilities here for exercise.

Keep in mind that since this is a Sno-Park open to motorized users, this location requires a motorized Sno-Park pass, a Discover Pass does not cover what's required here.
