Blyth Park lies along the Sammamish River in the City of Bothell. Near the park entrance are all the amenities you would expect: a large parking lot, restrooms, plenty of picnic tables and a playground. One of the main attractions here is the 10-hole disc golf course (watch out for flying discs, some of the holes run across the trail!).
Hiking trails extend from this more developed area out through the woods and along the river. Some trails are more developed while others are impromptu social trails.
If you hug the shore of the river you will stay in the open, going through grassy fields, which eventually end at 96th AVE NE.
If you want a workout you can climb up through the trees to the southeast boundary of the park, topping out at Norway Hill, which connects to the start of the Tolt Pipeline Trail. A small viewpoint is the reward for this climb.
The Burke Gilman Trail also runs right next to the park entrance.
