Hiking Aurora Divide

Start hiking from the Mount Storm King and Marymere Falls trailhead on a smooth rock and root free trail through the quiet forest. The trail soon reaches Highway 101 and dips beneath the highway to cross it.

Shortly after that comes the junction with the Mount Storm King trail. Stay straight on the Barnes Creek trail, passing by Marymere Falls. Only 0.1 miles after that comes another junction. Here, stay on Barnes Creek Trail, which is much brushier and narrower than the way has been up to now.

After three miles, arrive at another junction. This one is for Aurora Divide. Take a right and begin climbing; after about 4 miles, you'll finally come to the ridge.
